Welcome Bhodloza Nzimande has passed away, he was rushed to the hospital this morning and after battling a short illness he succumbed.
Nzimande is a veteran in the entertainment industry, he joined the SABC back in 1978 as an announcer.
He eventually became the station manager of Ukhozi FM and was also the presenter for Ezodumo, a show which highlighted indigenous music.
Acting Ukhozi FM station manager Sbongi Ngcobo has described Nzimande as a person who was incredibly wise.

Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that Mzansi has lost another one of its stars as it was announced that Wandi 'DJ1D' Nzimande has passed away.
Nzimande was a resident DJ at Kaya FM and the co-founded the streetwear brand Loxion Kulca. The radio station released a statement that confirmed the sad news.
The DJ and businessman's death marks yet another loss for those in the entertainment industry community and celebrities took to social media to share their reactions.

The current crisis caused actress Ayanda Borotho to ponder life and its meaning and she took to social media to share her thoughts with her fans.
