A beautiful young South African woman with the Twitter handle @hlengibila recently started a big debate about married life versus divorced life after she shared pictures of herself when she was married and when she was divorced. She captioned the before-and-after pictures of the transition that happened in her life:
"Married versus Divorced."
Soon the post blew up, reaching over 15 000 likes. Many locals also headed to the comment section with a number of questions. Many people asked why she had not taken care of herself while she was married while others wondered whether the marriage was in her opinion, not worth it.
Read a few of their various comments below.
"You didn't take care of yourself when you got married."
"Please explain both pictures if you don't mind, I'm confused."
"Ai no, marriage life is not for you."
"I doubt marriage is for anyone these days, we live in a very competitive world, which contribute to a lot of things that turn most happy marriages to sour, most marriages."
"I see natural vs make-up. You also learned how to master eyebrows and do them better as a divorcee. Oh plus some filtering on divorced and this sums everything up as a fraud. Dishonest and misleading."
In other Briefly.co.za Mzansi debate news, Twitter user and Mzansi artist Daniel Marven recently had Mzansi engaged in a big debate whether or not it was okay for a father to dress up in a tutu or as a princess in the name of pleasing his daughter.
"MEN WOULD YOU DO THIS FOR YOUR DAUGHTER?," he captioned a picture of a rather buff dad wearing a tutu while standing with his daughter who was dressed in an identical tutu.
Soon hundreds of locals were in the comment section sharing their thoughts. While many thought it was okay in the name of fun with a child, others were completely against it.
