Samuel L Jackson and 3 Celebs Who Have Received the Covid Vaccine

A number of international celebs came out and confirmed that they had contracted Covid-19 in 2020 and many have now began the process to immunity amid the pandemic.

Some celebs in the UK started receiving the coronavirus vaccine in December 2020 while US entertainers began receiving the doses in January 2021.

Many people across the globe, including celebs, have lost their lives due to the deadly virus. Different countries have began the process of vaccinating their citizens against Covid-19.

Briefly.co.za takes a look at four celebs who have received their jabs since the vaccine rollout began in their countries a few weeks ago.

1. Samuel L Jackson

The veteran actor rocked a cartoon superhero-themed mask when he went to receive his first dose of the vaccine on 23 January at The Forum in Inglewood. The superstar took to Instagram and shared that he was at The Forum to get his first jab. He captioned his post:

2. Arnold Schwarzenegger

The actor and politician waited in line at Dodger Stadium for his first dose of the vaccine. The 'Teminator' also took to Instagram to post that he has never been happier to wait in a line to get the jab. He captioned his post:

"Today was a good day. I have never been happier to wait in a line. If you’re eligible, join me and sign up to get your vaccine. Come with me if you want to live!"

3. Patrick Mower

Actor Patrick Mower, 82, received his vaccine on 15 December, 2020 in his resident city Louth. The Emmerdale star expressed that the vaccination "was incredibly easy and painless". He said:

"Getting my COVID vaccination was incredibly simple & painless. I feel incredibly lucky to have had it & would like to thank all the wonderful NHS staff for making it happen."

4. Judy Blume

Author of Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing Judy Blume, posted that she and her "husb" got their first dose in Key West on 8 January. She tweeted:

"Husb and I got our first dose of Moderna Vaccine on Friday in Key West. At last, something good about being 80+ and a 2 year Pan Can survivor (husb). No problems. Less of a sore arm than with flu shot."

In other entertainment news, Briefly.co.za reported that Lionel Richie recently trended on social media when a snap of himself and his 30-year-old girlfriend surfaced on social media.

It is reported that the 71-year-old American Idol judge is in a serious relationship with Lisa Parigi, 30. The musician has been dating the beauty entrepreneur since 2014.

The legendary US singer has a daughter who is older than Lisa. Nicole Richie is 39 years of age while her young sis is 22.
