Benni McCarthy, Peter Shalulile Titled Coach and Player of the Month

- Benni McCarthy of AmaZulu and Mamelodi Sundowns' Peter Shalulile walked away with coach and player of the month respectively

- The pair were honoured for the period January 12-February 24 by a panel of judges that are made up of former players‚ radio commentators‚ analysts and football media

- This is the first time either of them has received the titles in their football careers

Coach Benni McCarthy of AmaZulu and Mamelodi Sundowns' Peter Shalulile have made themselves and their football fans extremely proud after they both received the titles of coach and player of the month respectively.

The pair were honoured with the titles for the period January 12th up to February 14th by a panel of experts that were made up of former soccer players, soccer radio commentators and also analysts and football media.

Commenting on McCarthy's success at AmaZulu since his appointment, the judges said that he was able to bring harmony to the team and has also managed to help motivate players on the team that were previously unmotivated.

Peter Shalulile in the meantime was praised for being an all-round contributor to his team's success over the last few games during which he was able to score three goals and provided two assists.
