Prince Harry & Meghan to Co-Chair Global Vaccination Concert

- Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle will co-chair Vax Live: The Concert To Reunite The World, a global event to raise awareness about the coronavirus

- US President Joe Biden and his wife Jill will also be in attendance with performances by Jennifer Lopez and H.E.R

- The event will be recorded on 2 May and is set to air locally on the SABC and MultiChoice

Britain's Prince Harry and his wife Meghan will co-chair a fundraising concert endorsing increased coronavirus vaccinations globally. The event, which will air on 8 May, will be attended by US President Joe Biden and his wife Jill, event organisers announced on Tuesday.

The campaign, organised by Global Citizen, an international advocacy organisation, is pushing businesses to "donate dollars for doses" and for G7 governments to share excess vaccines.

It also urges pharmaceutical companies "including Moderna to make vaccines available at not-for-profit prices".

Other guests of the Vax Live: The Concert To Reunite The World event include Vice President Kamala Harris and entertaining performances by Jennifer Lopez, Eddie Vedder, J Balvin and H.E.R.

The concert will be pre-taped on 2 May in Los Angeles and air locally on SABC in South Africa and MultiChoice across Africa.

Meanwhile, Briefly News previously reported that Prince Harry has yet to address the 'issues' he has faced with the Royal family despite going back home to attend the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip.

Harry allegedly conversed with his father, Prince Charles and his brother Prince William.

Although they have had conversations reports state that Prince Harry has yet to speak on the 'outstanding issues' surrounding the family. Harry is allegedly only back to the UK to support his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth and to honour the life of his grandfather.

A source close to the family told a reporter that it was a 'family-focused' time and that Prince Philip's funeral allowed for ice to be broken for any possible future conversations.

According to Bazaar.com, the source stated that the Royal family put their issues aside in order to focus on the late Prince Philip. The report continued by saying that Prince William and Prince Harry allegedly met with their father to mend a supposed rift between them.

Reports state that the brothers' issues formed after Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle were part of a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.
