Mampintsha Throws Shade at His Mother: “Mama KaSpontshi”

Mampintsha seems to have taken his mother’s words with a pinch of salt. The woman recently had a rant about her daughter-in-law Babes Wodumo and accused her of faking her pregnancy. She said that Babes was wearing a sponge to make herself look pregnant.

Mampintsha’s recent comments show that he did not take the rants seriously.

The musician took to social media to share that he and Babes would be releasing a song called 'Mama kaSpontshi noBaba kaSpontshi', which is loosely translated to ‘Sponge’s Mother and Father’.

His fans were amused by the revelation and realised that he was poking fun at his mother’s comments.

Briefly News had previously reported that a video of Mandla ‘Mampintsha’ Maphumulo’s mother has been circulating on social media. In the footage, the woman holds nothing back as she tears into Mampintsha’s new wife, Bongekile ‘Babes Wodumo’ Simelane.

The elderly woman accused Babes Wodumo of using her son and turning him against her. She went on to claim that Babes was faking her pregnancy and was in fact using a 'sponge' to make her belly appear bigger.

The irate lady did not spare the Simelane family either and called the father of the household a thief. She also shared some unkind words about Babes’ sister.

Mrs Maphumulo said that Babes and her family were taking her son’s money. She explained that they used her to film their upcoming reality show but she received no money from that. She made it clear that she disliked the Simelanes and was not happy with the union of the families.
