Ntsiki Mazwai recently took to social media to share her thoughts about the Ugandan government and the recent law they passed. The law bans same-sex marriage and criminalizes sex work.
“Uganda is sick. The president is a disgusting man.”
Twitter user @MhakweTinatse explained the ruling:
“Uganda banned same sex relationships yesterday, alongside saying consent cannot be withdrawn once a sexual act has begun. They have also criminalised sex work. This will increase convictions of queer people and sex workers while doing the opposite for sex offenders. Free Uganda.”
The hashtag #UgandaIsbleeding has been trending as social media users shared their thoughts.
Meanwhile Briefly News reported that Ntsiki Mazwai is constantly in the headlines for sounding off about just about every issue that arises. Some social media users have even told her that she has too much free time on her hands and she agrees.
The poet recently took to social media to admit that she does have a lot of free time and needed a boyfriend.
“Guys I need to find a boyfriend... I have too much time on my hands.”
Ntsiki has never been one to flaunt having a boyfriend but it seems that she has been single for quite a while. Briefly News learned that the media personality once had a crush on the late ProKid. Other than that, she has never really revealed who she dates.
Social media users shared their thoughts about her post. Twitter user Maps_welsh said:
“Good morning @ntsikimazwai. Don't allow loneliness to kill you! I do part-time dating. We can date until you find your soulmate.”
“You've taken the first step... Admitting you've got a problem.”
“There's a Motswana guy who has a crush on you... He's fond of red jackets though. Should I activate?”
“We could make a good couple if given a chance.”
