According to Morgan, the book is yet another way for the "attention-seeking" Markle to prove that she loves preaching what she herself never practices.

“Notwithstanding Ms Markle's seemingly unlimited thirst for committing attention-seeking acts of gargantuan hypocrisy, this seemed beyond parody. But it was real," wrote Piers.

Morgan also added that the children's book would undoubtedly join the shortlist for the title of 'World's Most Ludicrously Inappropriate Book', reports a Daily Express article. A direct quote from Morgan's column in MailOnline reads:

“Lest we forget, Ms Markle has ruthlessly disowned her father Thomas and refuses to have anything to do with him."

He then goes on to say that Markle had sat next to Prince Harry while he trashed his own father for disowning him. He then called Harry a "needy spoiled brat teenager" who acted like he wasn't a multi-millionaire.

Social media users had this to say about Morgan's rant:

@JosephCornforth

"Meghan Markle was educated at Northwestern University, an advocate for gender equality with the United Nations and is a global ambassador for world vision Canada. Piers Morgan never went to university, faked war photographs and was accused of hacking phones. It shows."

Briefly News earlier reported that Meghan Markle, also known as the Duchess of Sussex, is on course towards releasing a children's book titled The Bench. According to her, the storyline stems from her observation of the father-son relationship between her husband Prince Harry and Archie. The book, set to be published on June 8, will also exist in audio form to be released at a later date
