A harrowing clip was shared online by SA Long Distance Truck Drivers of a bakkie driver blocking the road for a truck driver to pass and then getting out and threatening the truck driver with a bat which prompts the trucker to ram his bakkie out of the way.

"Well done trucker. Well done to his boss for saying he should just push them out of the way. If he threatens you with a weapon you fight back," the post was captioned.

In other Briefly News a harrowing clip of a truck driver coming face-to-face with two armed hijackers has been shared on Facebook page SA Long-Distance Truckers. In the clip, which was captured by a dashcam, the two men can be seen approaching the driver with their guns drawn.
The quick-thinking driver springs into action and starts reversing the truck, which causes the two hijackers to start running after him. Unfortunately for them, the driver makes a quick U-turn and gets himself to safety.
