Sheesh, Kelly Khumalo is really feeling the wrath of many netizens lately since Advocate Teffo made some damning claims about her. Recently, the star experienced something horrible while she was performing on stage.
A TikTok user @franky_zulu8870 posted a video of the singer performing one of her hit songs at the Dundee July, which took place this past weekend, 19 and 20 July 2025. Khumalo was on stage when a fan threw a can at her.
However, Briefly News also reported on Monday, 21 July, that Kelly had been performing with a bodyguard on stage, who was spotted in the video kicking away the can that the unknown person aggressively threw in Khumalo's direction.

SA reacts to Kelly being assaulted with a can
Shortly after the video went viral on social media, many netizens flooded the comment section with their reactions, while others voiced that this hate towards Khumalo is unnecessary and heartbreaking.
Here are some of the comments below:
MaNyo KaBaba said:
"Imagine what she goes through alone in closed doors…Only a few will understand my comment."
MihleScrich commented:
"She doesn’t deserve this much hate."
mlindie responded:
"She failed Meyiwa's family. If she really loved Senzo, why didn't she tell the family exactly what happened on that day? This is painful because she has answers."
SMM replied:
"She's very talented, but has a LOT of darkness hovering over her because of her ways."
Kamvalethu mentioned:
"She’s busy singing gospel songs, but she is not even telling the truth or providing clarity as to what happened to Senzo."
Debbie Dee stated:
"Those who say they love Kelly because it wasn't their child who was killed, if you're just a parent, wouldn't be saying such. The girl's (Kelly) story didn't go down well. She should be telling the truth, if she loved Senzo, I'm shocked."
Lollipop wrote:
"To those who were following the case, everyone in the house wrote an affidavit telling how Senzo was killed, including Kelly, so if there is anyone who saw things differently, go to the Pretoria High Court and give evidence or better truth; courts don't work on hogwash and are not personal."
