A fresh set of relationship rumours has swept through Mzansi's entertainment circles, with Scotts Maphuma allegedly linked to popular beauty influencer Naqueeda Dayel.
The speculation took off during the latest episode of Music Pulse, which aired on 11 August 2026. During the episode, Thakgi Ledwaba told viewers and his co-hosts, Nota Baloyi and Sfiso Ndlovu, that his sources had placed Scotts and Naqueeda together in Midrand, describing the encounter as far from casual.
"Allegedly, they were seen in Midrand all cosy. Someone also mentioned that Scotts was busy with Naqueeda."
He went further, suggesting that Scotts appeared to be "finishing" them on the low, implying the relationship and other romantic encounters had been kept well under wraps.

Adding another layer to the story, a voice audible in the background during the episode said, "Poor Bruce," a remark directed at Naqueeda's on-again-off-again boyfriend. The couple had announced their most recent break-up in January, with Naqueeda pointing to personal reasons as the cause.
