Radio personality Sizwe Dhlomo had a sharp response ready when a social media user tried to drag him into a conversation about the murders of women in Ekurhuleni. He was not in the mood, and he made that crystal clear on Friday, 18 September 2026.

Dhlomo had shared a clip from a Ghanaian TV show featuring a hilarious moment when X user @david_tema jumped into the replies with a loaded question: "Are you aware of the 9 women who were raped and killed in Kempton Park, or you just don't care? To shine a spotlight on it, as celebrities would help raise awareness."

The comment drew an immediate, no-nonsense reply from Dhlomo: "Ungazong'dakelwa la mina!" — a Zulu phrase that loosely translates to "Don't you dare with me."

Multiple celebrities have since spoken out in response to the growing number of cases, including Janez, Bonang, Amanda duPont and many more.

Mzansi reacts to Sizwe's clap back

The exchange drew a sharp mix of reactions from followers. @david_tema pushed back, saying: "Who are you, as long as the message has landed and there is nothing you can do, play your part as a role model, just touch on the issue you won't loose anything or you want to get paid?"

9 bodies found in Kempton Park

Briefly News reported that since July 2026, a total of nine women's bodies have been discovered across Ekurhuleni, sending shockwaves through communities in the area. The first victim was found near Kempton Park on 15 July. The second victim was Itumeleng Kekana, 32, who was found along Great North Road in Pomona on 3 August. The third was a 32-year-old woman, who was discovered partially clothed near the R21 on 24 August, followed by another woman found in a river in Clayville on 7 September.

Further discoveries followed in rapid succession. On 10 September, a badly decomposed body was found near the R21 in Kempton Park. Elizabeth "Tsontso" Moselakgomo, 38, was found dead after leaving home for her usual morning run. On 14 September, a body surfaced in Olifantsfontein, while a woman was found beside a road in KwaThema the following day. The KwaThema victim was later identified as Dineo Evelyn Motapane, 38. Then on the morning of 17 September, another woman's body was found in Villa Liza near Dawn Park in Boksburg.
