Mzansi is buzzing after the season two trailer for Life with Felix dropped and delivered a jaw-dropping moment: Ayanda Bhengu, the rumoured second wife of comedian and radio personality Felix Hlophe, was spotted cradling a visible baby bump. The clip has sent fans into a frenzy ahead of the show's return.

Ayanda Bhengu stands out in the trailer

One detail in the promo that has viewers talking is the visual contrast between Ayanda and the rest of the family. While Tracy, Nozipho, and other cast members appear together at home in coordinated brown outfits, Ayanda is filmed separately with Felix and is dressed in red. It is a small but striking choice that seems to signal her complicated place within the family dynamic.

Season one first introduced Ayanda as part of Felix's polygamous journey. Their relationship, however, quickly became turbulent.

Towards the end of 2024, Ayanda publicly aired her grievances about Felix on social media, walking away from the relationship before he could pay lobola. She described the polygamous environment as "toxic" and cited ongoing conflict as her reason for leaving, stating she needed to prioritise her children.

From breakup to baby news

The turnaround came in December 2025, when the pair reportedly rekindled their romance. Felix allegedly paid lobola for Ayanda, seemingly cementing their relationship after months of public drama.

The pregnancy reveal adds yet another layer to an already dramatic storyline. This news surfaces months after Felix found himself at the centre of controversy following a widely reported verbal altercation with his wife Tracy, which resulted in his suspension from Gagasi FM.

With a new baby on the way, the return of Ayanda to the show, and the unresolved tensions from season one, fans are bracing themselves for a packed second season when Life with Felix returns on 11 October.
