The second season of Shaka iLembe recently aired, and social media users have been live-reacting and sharing their thoughts on the new season and its characters.

A standout figure in the cast has been Queen Ntombazi, portrayed by actress and entrepreneur, Khabonina Qubeka. Ntombazi is the matriarch of the Ndwandwe family and the keeper of their ambitions. Her bio reads:

However, entertainment blogger, TvblogbyMLU, dragged Qubeka in a Twitter (X) post dated 20 July 2025, and demanded that she be removed from the show:

"Get her off my screen, please."

In a series of replies, MLU and several other viewers expressed that it was not the acting that was the problem, but how amazing a job Khabonina was doing with her role that made her fans hate her in real life.
