Lady Excited to Share Location of Free Dental Clinic in Cape Town in Viral TikTok Video

A South African lifestyle content creator, Sasha Leigh Allen, went viral on Thursday after she shared the location of a free clinic in Cape Town.

The young woman excited many when she explained how she maintained her oral health without spending a dime. Allen recently visited the Hope Dental Clinic, located on Hope Street in Cape Town.
The youngster vlogged her quick and easy treatment and shared how other people could avoid breaking the bank every time they needed to get their teeth cleaned. Allen explained that all South Africans, including children, are welcome at the clinic.

Woman plugs SA with free dental clinic in Cape Town
Allen urged that people need to be at the clinic by 5 am to make an appointment to see the dentist. She explained that she went to the clinic to get her teeth, which she would have paid R600 elsewhere.

The youngster highlighted her dentist’s gentleness during the procedure:
“My dentist, Mpumi, explained everything so well, and while she was working on my teeth, she had 2Pac playing in the background.”
Allen shared that tooth extraction and cleaning are the only free services and that an individual needs to bring along their identity documents. The clinic has a first-come, first-served policy, and children aged one to six must book ahead and carry their clinic book and birth certificate:
“You won’t pay a single dime.”

A visit to the dentist is often seen as punishment in some households. According to an article by IOL, a dental and aesthetics surgeon based in Richards Bay, Dr Samantha Naidoo mentioned that parents play a crucial role in their children’s dental health.

Dr Naidoo urged that children should always be encouraged to take care of their health. Parents were advised to model good oral hygiene practices at home, as kids do as they see and not as they are told.
