A new video of Tyla's work in the studio left online users amped. The snippet of the music Tyla is working on was a viral hit among fans.
In a TikTok posted by @debowtaliana21, Tyla was in front of a mic in a studio doing some vocals for a track. The singer executed a stunning interpolation with her voice that was presumably the backing vocals of an upcoming song. House music lovers speculated that the vocal sounded perfect for a 3-Step banger.

3-Step is another genre of music characterised by a three-kick drum rhythm with its roots in House music. Rolling Stone describes 3-Step as a blend of Amapiano, Afro-house and broken beat, aka "bruk". It is a beloved genre, and South African producer Thakzin is credited with developing it in 2020 during lockdown. The release of a 3-Step banger, Magnificent Dance, in 2022 cemented its place in South Africa among DJs such as Black Coffee, Mörda, Dlala Thukzin and other musicians.
