Why use heat for menstrual pain?

The information hub Angelini Pharma explained that heat therapy, with the suggested temperature of 40-45 degrees Celsius, helps relax the muscles, reduce cramps in the lower abdomen, uterus, and lower back, and improve blood circulation in the pelvis. To avoid burning yourself, pharmacists recommend avoiding direct contact with the skin and following the advice or instructions provided with the product or device used.
