A South African grandson decided to test his ouma's patience with a an orange juice prank. The internet has not stopped laughing over how the grandmother reacted to the trick.

The clip, posted on 27 August 2026, was filmed inside a home kitchen using a fixed camera. The on-screen Afrikaans caption read "Lemoensap prank op ouma" (orange juice prank on grandma), immediately setting the scene for what was coming.

A young man identified as Michael handed his grandmother a drink, letting her believe it was something sweet. The moment she tasted it, declared it was delicious. He then pretended that he extracted the juice with his mouth.

What made the video by @chronicles_with_ouma land so well was the grandmother's full commitment to her outrage. She told him she felt so sick she could die.
