A South African content creator left Mzansi in stitches after tearing apart a Pretoria rental listing that dared to ask R33,000 a month for a two-bedroom flat.

@imunboliviabell posted the review on 30 September 2026 as part of her running series, *What The P***, where she scrolls through property listings with a pink furry microphone and a healthy dose of sarcasm. This time, her target was a two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom apartment in Menlo Park, Pretoria, sitting at 97 square metres and asking R33,000 per month.

She walked viewers through the listing photo by photo. The entrance opened into a long, narrow corridor that accounted for the entire ground floor. The kitchen and lounge were there, along with a small counter-top that doubled as a dining area.

R66,000 to move in

The main bedroom was the centrepiece of the review. It included a bathroom with no door, meaning anyone in the bed had a direct line of sight, smell, and sound to whoever was inside. At R33,000 a month, he pointed out, the deposit and first month's rent would set a new tenant back R66,000 before they had even unpacked a bag.

She also noted that splitting the unit with a flatmate would not be straightforward. The second bedroom was noticeably smaller, meaning the person taking the main room would logically pay more than half, making a 50/50 split nearly impossible to justify.
