The infamous painter dubbed Rasta the Artist showcased his new painting of Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away on 9 September 2022.

Rasta has made a name for himself by painting celebrities and failing at capturing their true image. To the surprise of many South Africans, Rasta nailed it this time and is getting applause for his effort.

Netizens had a lot of fun in the past teasing Rasta, but today the joke is on them for doubting the resilient artist.

@RealMrumaDrive said:

"Rasta is doing it for himself and his growth. You know very well that black people are not supportive. The best we do is post on socials and believe that is support and will make brilliant people like Rasta grow. Although they do not like us, but Rasta is doing well for himself."

@Tumelo_kaThoko wrote:

"Rasta has already drawn a portrait of himself holding a portrait of himself that has a portrait of himself holding a portrait of himself."

@MoitoBom asked:

"Do I see green gold and black colours worn by Rasta? Is that the reason he was so fast efficient and effective on this Ugogo assignment?"

@Bothwellnative stated:

"This is good art! Art should not be perfect but must be meaningful. Am sure everyone sees The Queen."

@VictorMkhaliphi mentioned:

"Looks like somebody had to help Rasta on this, otherwise indeed he's a traitor of note."

Khuzeka Rasta: Mzansi isn't happy with Rasta's painting of the late Tsepo Tshola

In a related Briefly News report, South Africans are very critical of Rasta the Artist’s latest work of the late musician, Tsepo Tshola. The controversial artist paid tribute to the fallen muso, famously known as the ‘Village Pope’.

The well-known artist took to social media to display his artwork on the man recognised as one of the finest musicians on the African continent.
