A Johannesburg woman has touched hearts after visiting a veteran South African actor and finding him living in heartbreaking conditions.

Content creator @thulile_g shared an emotional video on the 13 of August showing the current state of award-winning actor Glen Gabela's life.

The video reveals the shocking reality of how the former Uzalo star is living. His small home shows clear signs of neglect, with doors covered in mould and water damage. Inside, old broken TVs sit on top of each other, papers and discs are scattered everywhere, and the furniture looks worn out. His bedroom shows piles of belongings everywhere around just a basic bed.

"I just want to live a decent life. I want to live decently like every normal person."
