A traffic officer's emotional video captured the hearts of social media users, as she shared the heartbreak of her children disrespecting her by not recognising her efforts.

The woman, a 40-year-old traffic officer named Ncediswa Koli, was asked in a video what the most painful thing that had ever happened to her was. She responded by saying it was giving birth to her three children, aged 21, 17, and 15, raising them, and having them not recognise her as a mother. Looking emotional, she said it was painful, adding that she tried her best to take care of them single-handedly.

The mom bears the pain of raising kids alone

She added that her children did not even understand how she wakes up every day, stands in the rain and in windy conditions, just to provide for them. When asked if that made her feel unloved, she said she feels something more than that, saying she has anger and pain inside. Ncediswa blamed herself, saying maybe she was a bad mother.

When asked if she feels like she's a bad mother, she said yes, she does, adding that if she were a good mother, maybe one of her children would recognise her efforts. She ended by saying that the biggest pain was waking up every day, wondering where she went wrong and not knowing how to fix it.
