“The ordeal is nowhere close to the end, but with time, my family and I will heal enough to celebrate the lives and the people taken from us. No parent should ever have to bury their children,” he said.

He urged other parents to hug their kids a little tighter and thank God for the breath in their bodies. The sisters’ mother, Janene Moodley, shared a photo online, stating how she was in pieces following the tragedy.

"Claims related to life cover and car insurance policies can usually be made after the funeral. However, with regard to the car, it is crucial to notify the car insurance company about the accident as soon as possible.
If the car is towed from the scene by an unauthorised operator, it may incur significant storage and release fees, which could delay the claims process or lead to disputes. Thus, informing the insurer promptly is essential for the proper handling and timely recovery of the vehicle."
