TikToker 'Farming Blonde' Luzanne Fouché Denies Exploiting Late Dr Egbert Weis

EASTERN CAPE — TikTok content creator Luzanne Fouché, known online as "Farming Blonde", has denied accusations that she exploited a vulnerable East London medical practitioner, Dr Egbert Weis, in the period leading up to his death in January 2023.

The allegations were made public by Weis's brother-in-law, Peter Brink, who released a video detailing a series of financial transactions that reportedly took place between 2022 and 2023 while Weis was experiencing a manic episode and was off his medication. According to Rapport, Weis purchased a Porsche for Fouché during this period and attempted to transfer a luxury apartment, valued at between R2.5 million and R3 million, to her children before members of his family stepped in to halt the transaction.

Brink acts after fundraiser launch

Brink posted the video following the launch of an R350,000 BackaBuddy fundraising campaign by Fouché, which has since been taken down from the platform. Attorney Henry van Breda confirmed that efforts to recover the Porsche were complicated and that the vehicle was eventually returned in a damaged condition. A source close to the matter stated that Fouché had been a patient of Weis at his practice in Gonubie and that the nature of their relationship was not romantic.

Investigator speaks on Fouché's behalf

Anthony Boucher, an investigator at Mike Bolhuis' Specialised Security Services, confirmed he is representing Fouché in connection with the claims. Boucher said Fouché categorically denies all allegations levelled against her and maintains that her conscience is clear, adding that she holds evidence capable of refuting the accusations.

He also advised her to refrain from engaging on social media while a private investigation into the matter remains ongoing. Weis took his own life in January 2023. His family holds the view that the financial decisions made during his manic episode, which included property transactions and high-value purchases, contributed to his deteriorating circumstances prior to his death.
