Kaizer Chiefs to Face Wydad Casablanca in Egypt, the Home of Al Ahly

After a lot of back and forth, the location for the Kaizer Chiefs versus Wydad Casablanca CAF fixture has been set. Recent reports reveal that the match will take place in Egypt, the home of Pitso Mosimane's Al Ahly.

According to a tweet made by Wydad Casablanca, the match date is yet to be confirmed but the dates they are looking at are between the 16 to the 20th of February this year. The team also went on to thank the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Egyptian Federation with who they have "fraternal relations".

Briefly.co.za previously reported that The Kaizer Chiefs website recently released another statement regarding their travel woes for a CAF fixture that is meant to take place in Morocco in a few days. According to the statement, the team is still on the fence about the trip.

This is because they have yet to receive any communication on a way forward by the Moroccan authorities about whether or not they will receive special visas to enter the country since they had still not received their visas for the trip besides the fact that they had made all the necessary arrangements quite well in advance.
