Jackson joined Drogba in exclusive list
Jackson opened the scoring for Chelsea after four minutes following a pass from Jadon Sancho. The Senegalese made a superb turn to slot past Alphonse Areola.
14 minutes later, the former Villareal striker scored his second after an inch-perfect through ball from Moises Caicedo.
Cole Palmer added a third early in the second half thanks to Jakcon's assist.
Jackson is now the quickest Chelsea player to score a brace since Drogba. Jackson did it in 18 minutes, while Drogba scored in 17 minutes in 2005 against Middlesbrough, per Opta Joe.
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca lauded the Senegal striker's performance.
"Fantastic. He is doing well. He is working hard off the ball. If a player misses chances, it does not mean he is not playing well. It can happen," per Football London.
As Chelsea's starting striker, Jackson will be expected to score even more goals this season.
