The retired Kaizer Chiefs winger, who is currently coaching TS Galaxy, released a public statement acknowledging that his personal struggles had hurt people close to him. He confirmed that he and Kacha had been together for three years and that, while their romantic relationship had ended, they remained committed to co-parenting their children.

Kacha's response to Parker's announcement

Shortly after Parker went public, Kacha took to social media with a message that many interpreted as a direct response to his statement.

"Lust and Addiction will strip you of your family, your work, your name and everything you built," she wrote.

A second post followed:

"If betrayal was so easy, the devil would be next seated at the throne. Make sure whatever you do is worth losing it all."

Kacha did not tag Parker or mention him by name. Even so, the timing of the posts left little room for ambiguity, given that Parker's own statement included an explicit apology to her and an admission of struggling with personal addictions, the nature of which he did not specify.

The Fourways Mall footage

Parker's confirmation has also reignited interest in footage filmed by NOWinSA at Fourways Mall in Johannesburg in October 2025. In the clip, Parker is seen near a white car alongside Kacha and a toddler.

The publication noted that its team member recognised Parker at the time but was surprised, since he was publicly associated with his wife, Wendy Parker. NOWinSA has since identified the woman in the video as Kacha.

The clip does not settle questions about when Parker's marriage ended or clarify the exact sequence of his relationships. However, given that Parker has since confirmed the three-year relationship, the footage now offers an earlier public record of the pair together.

Parker and Wendy tied the knot on 16 June 2012 in Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal, in a ceremony attended by roughly 170 guests. Wendy was a familiar face alongside him throughout his playing career, including during his recovery from a serious leg injury he sustained while at TS Galaxy in December 2023.

His recent statement has prompted social media users to question when exactly the marriage ended, with at least one user sharing a photograph of the couple from 2024 and asking how the timeline of his three-year relationship with Kacha adds up.

Neither Parker's public statement nor the Fourways Mall footage answers whether his marriage to Wendy has legally ended or when any separation took place. Wendy has not publicly commented on the matter.
