Cheslin Kolbe, the Springbok winger, gave fans a glimpse into his off-field life when he posted a set of photos captioned simply "Reunited 🤎" on Instagram.
The post, shared two days ago, showed Kolbe catching up with fellow Springbok teammates Jesse Kriel and Damian Willemse. The final photo in the set showed someone behind the wheel of a vehicle, and sharp-eyed followers were quick to spot what appeared to be a Land Rover.
The trio were last together in the green and gold during the Springboks' 45-21 victory over England at Ellis Park on 4 July.
Springboks players reunited after excellent displays
It was a particularly memorable outing for Kolbe and Willemse, who both celebrated their 50th Springbok caps. Kolbe scored a try and was rated 8/10 for an impressive display, while Willemse also earned an 8/10 rating after producing a composed performance at fullback. Kriel was rated 7/10 and capped his contribution with a try as the Springboks pulled away from England.
The casual post did not need much context for fans to get excited. Seeing members of the World Cup-winning squad together off the pitch was more than enough to set the comments section alight.
