Former Sharks star Curwin Bosch has been handed a Bulls debut against the All Blacks, with the fly-half named in the starting XV for Saturday’s clash at Loftus Versfeld. Bosch’s first appearance for the Pretoria franchise comes after his two-year stint with French club Brive.
He returned to South Africa this year and will now begin his Bulls career against New Zealand. The Bulls confirmed their team on Thursday, 13 August, ahead of the 19:00 kick-off on Saturday, 15 August.
Ackermann backs experienced combination
Bosch is among four Springboks included in the Bulls lineup, with Willie le Roux, Embrose Papier and Marcell Coetzee also selected.

The decision follows coach Johan Ackermann’s earlier indication that he would use all available players for the fixture.
“We're going to go as strong as we can,” Ackermann said on Tuesday.
He added that the new arrivals would also be considered, saying:
“All the other names that are available will play. So, even the new guys that joined us.”
France spell shaped Bosch’s return
Bosch previously described his move to France as an important period in his career.
“It's amazing to be back in South Africa,” he said.
“The two seasons I spent in France were really good for me, but there's just no place like home.”
He also said the experience helped him feel “a lot more free” and allowed him to focus on rugby without the distractions he had previously experienced.
His Bulls debut now comes against the All Blacks at Loftus.
Loftus ticket prices add to All Blacks excitement
Briefly News previously reported that tickets are still available for the Bulls’ meeting with the All Blacks at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday, 15 August.
Prices range from R250 in the upper-level corners to R1,350 for premium lower-level seats around halfway. The wide range of options gives supporters several ways to attend the highly anticipated fixture.
The Bulls will be hoping for a strong turnout after contrasting crowds during New Zealand’s tour of South Africa.
