A hardworking man is overwhelmed by emotions after being gifted a nice car to lighten his daily travels to and from work.

The diligent employee was forced to use a bicycle to commute, spending at least 6 hours daily on his travels.

Working hard to feed family

Samson Adams, who lived in Livingston County, covered 48 miles to Texas Roadhouse in Paducah, Kentucky, where he worked for a month.

"I had no choice but to use a manual bike, and then that went out, and then God came and blessed me with all this," said Adams, who had to work hard to fend for his family, told WRAL NEWS.

Ambassador candidly talks to citizen

Texas Roadhouse Community Ambassador Joelle Long says she and her husband noticed Adams was always tired at work.

"I started picking him up. We started talking. The more I talked to him, the more I got to know him, the more I loved him. The more I felt like this guy really deserves someone to help him," Long shared.

Long shared Adams' story online, and the heartbreaking story touched the Texas Roadhouse community as they were onboard to help Adams.

American man Adams was stunned by the news and thought he was maybe in trouble for doing or not doing something.

"Maybe I shouldn't have eaten that piece of bread on camera. You know, something simple like that. And she was like, 'No, you're not in trouble. I got news for you. We got you a car.' Just basically, I didn't know what to think," Adams stated.

He described the gift as a blessing from God, as he and his family could use the car for different purposes.
