A local woman has gone viral on social media after sharing her devastating story of being deceived by her husband, finding out about his second family the day his other wife died.
According to the screenshot posted by Twitter user @UnaMbo1, the anonymous woman has been married to her partner for 20 years. On a Sunday like any other, her husband took his daily trip to the gym.
However, the young woman shockingly found out that her husband had been attending his 'secret' wife's funeral. What's more, the husband's friends knew all about the shady affair and continued to support the secret marriage at her expense.
Her man also has four kids with the deceased wife.
Mzansi social media users were shook by the tragic account of infidelity. Many sympathetic users took to the comments section, sharing their own accounts and some useful advice.
Check out some of the comments below:
"The way my heart is so fragile... I think I'd die of heartache."
@kay_Me13 had some advice:
"I'd leave in midst of his grieving state. Allow him to grieve his partner in peace. Serve him with divorce paper weeks later. Cut all ties with his family but allow him to have full access to the children."
"Your husband is a widow?"
"How do you not notice that your husband has an entire family outside of yours? And worse, mamcane has 4 and you have 2 nyana!!! Monogamy is a joke!!!"
Meanwhile, Briefly News previously reported that an opinionated young woman has social media abuzz after sharing that she'd never allow her man to suffer. Instead, she says it made sense to share what little money was available to their mutual benefit, even if it all came from her own pocket.
@_MalindyHadebe took to Twitter, sharing the viral post. "No boyfriend of mine shall struggle as long as I can help him. Even if it means sharing my last R200 and take R100/R100, I will," she captioned the passionate tweet.
The comment definitely sparked some heated reactions on social media. While most men agreed with the generous woman, Mzansi's ladies on the other hand shared their own bad experiences with men in need of financial support. Check out some of the comments below:
"Heaven and earth approves you... You are simply the best... May the Lord shower you with more wisdom."
"Yabona wena, I should just marry you once."
"Never thought girls like that exist."
"The key thing here is that he does the same. I think this becomes impractical where one party is always the one coming through while the other receives and receives, looks out only for himself yet expects to still be looked out for."
"O strong wena gal nna andize."
"It is good, problem is when you help him out and when things start to take shape on his side he forgets who stood by him when he was low and instead he gets another woman and they live soft life together. Talking from experience."
