Graduate tweets loving and beautiful tribute to her mother

Buhle Ndweni who has graduated from three different institutions, wrote a beautiful and loving tribute to her late mother, expressing her love, admiration and gratitude. uMaNdweni passed away four years earlier but is still remembered by her family, particularly her children.

uMaNdweni worked as a domestic worker while Buhle was completing her education. Thanks to her love, hard work and dedication, Buhle graduated from the University of Witwatersrand, Stellenbosch University and University of Cape Town.

In a Twitter post, Buhle writes that her mother’s courage, wisdom and resilience remain in the hearts and memories of her family.

Making the most out of the opportunities that her mother was determined to provide to her children, Buhle is highly successful in her field and is involved in community engagement. Buhle founded Health Ikhtisadi Afrika a social justice organisation seeking to provide quality healthcare to African communities.
