After 17 432 869 votes from 22 924 voting districts, according to data given by the IEC, the ANC remains the leading party in South Africa.
Few people really expect a different outcome, and feel that when the IEC makes its official announcement at 6pm, there won't be much change.
The ANC got 57.51% of the votes, for a total of just over 10 million votes.
The DA is in second position, with 20.76% of the votes for a total of just over 3 million votes.
Third is the EFF with 10.79% for just over 1.8 million votes.
The IFP, FF+ and ACDP take up the next four spaces, with 3.38%, 2.38% and 0.84% respectively, according to elections.org.za.
If spoilt votes were a party, they would actually clock in at sixth place, ahead of the ACDP. There were 235 449 spoilt votes, while the ACDP received 146 000 votes.
In the Western Cape, the DA leads at 55.42% to the ANC's 28.67%, with the EFF third at 4.04%.
In Gauteng, the ANC is top of the pack with 50.19%, with the DA at 27.45% and the EFF at 14.69%.
