Muso Duncan receives certificate and award from SAPS for making sense

Local rapper Duncan can boast with a nice and shiny certificate that he received from the SAPS.

The police awarded the musician for creating music that makes sense - a rather exceptional achievement.

As reported on by SAHipHopMag, Duncan hyped up a song of his with DJ Tira through the police force.

He was all about spreading a positive message and that's what earned him this award.

Over the weekend, Duncan received his Certificate from the SAPS Head office. According to a police spokesman, the Unit service excellence awards are about seeing and recognizing the good that people do for communities.

The Daily Sun quoted Duncan as saying that the award means a lot to him.

"This means a lot to me. I think this award concludes everything for me. I have set the record.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Duncan wants his music to be something that inspires others to do good.

"My music is like that. It always aims at inspiring. I always try to send a message that will inspire and change someone’s life."
