1. We are the champions: South Africa wins the 2019 Rugby World Cup
South Africa did what many thought was the impossible when they won their third Rugby World Cup title. The English put up a spirited defence but the Springboks were too physical for them. The match was fraught with injuries on both sides but in the end, we emerged victors.
2. Anrune Weyers wins gold medal at World Para Athletics Championships
A South African athlete scooped the first gold medal at the World Para Athletics Championships held recently. Anrune Weyers was congratulated by the official government account on social media. The young lady led the women’s 400m, breaking a new record. Weyers finished the race in a time of 55.79.
3. Chad Le Clos bags Gold at Fina Swimming World Cup
South Africans had another reason to celebrate after Chad Le Clos secured a gold medal recently. The swimming champ bagged the gold in Doha. Le Clos posted the fast time on the 100m butterfly ahead of Polish Jakub Maljerski and the USA's Michael Andrew.

4. Boy makes SA proud, wins silver medal at WMO Championships
Lezario Alston Louw, who is affectionately known to social media users as 'Zaza',made the country proud. The young man competed in the WMO World Championships, a tournament hosting the world's best in martial arts. Zaza's exceptional performance secured him a silver medal in his age division.
