The KFC wedding finally took place and Mzansi peeps are now allowed to know the details. The wedding, which was hosted at the Thaba Eco Hotel in Johannesburg, took place on 31 December and the photos and videos are simply beautiful.

Briefly.co.za took a look at some of the footage that captured the KFC couple - Nonhlanhla Soldaat and Hector Mkansi's special day.

Stunning dress for a beautiful bride

Soldaat looked breath-taking in white off-shoulder A-line wedding dress. The Thaba Eco Hotel posted a snap of the blushing bride before the big day and she looked stunning.

Tailor Tshepo Mashego posted snaps of the happy groom getting ready for the big day.

Dancing down the aisle

W24 shared a video of the Mr and Mrs dancing down the aisle after the wedding sermon.

South Africans were not happy about their "invitations getting lost in the mail" but the couple maintains the small, intimate ceremony was due to limitations.

The bride said she would have liked to have hosted it in a venue that could fit the whole country, but it was not a possibility.
