2020 Golden Globe winners list brings the heat – it’s on fire

Ricky Gervais was once again the host for the 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards. It is now the fifth time the British comedian has taken on the hosting of this event which was held on Sunday night in Beverly Hills.

Briefly.co.za saw that every big name in TV and film came together to kick off the 2020 awards. The controversial host, Ricky Gervais, did not waste any time laying into the Hollywood elite with his jokes.

With the Globes done and dusted now, it is always a good lead-up to the annual Academy Awards which will be happening so much earlier this year on Sunday, 10 February.

You need not worry; if you missed all the goings-on with regards to the Golden Globes, don’t fret as you will be able to see the re-run on M-Net, channel 101 at 8pm this evening.
