Cristiano Ronaldo splurges £8.5 million on latest Bugatti Centodieci

Cristiano Ronaldo's love for cars is second to none and the Juventus striker has spent around £16 million on his impressive car collection.

It is understood that 35-year-old recently acquired the Bugatti Centodieci which costs around £8.5m with only ten copies of the car made by the manufacturer.

CR7 already owns a Bugatti Chiron and a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, now buying a Centodieci.

The Centodieci has an eight-litre W16 engine, with special models having 1600hp, some 100hp more than the Chiron model but it costs three times more than the 'standard' Chiron.

The car can reach a top speed of 236mph covering 0-62mph in just 2.4 seconds, making it one of the-if, not the-fastest production car in the world right now.

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za earlier reported that Cristiano Ronaldo is happy as his mom Dolores Aveiro has been discharged from hospital after suffering a stroke.

Dolores was released from the hospital last Saturday after spending nearly two weeks recovering from the life-threatening ailment.

She posted a photo of herself on social media after her departure from the hospital then her son Ronaldo could not hide how happy he was as he posted a family picture on Instagram.

"Feeling very thankful to have my mum home from hospital and recovering.

"Look after your family and loved ones. #stayhomesavelives."
