Briefly.co.za reported that former acting king Prince Azenathi had been booted from his position by the government.

Following a bitter rivalry between the father and son over who will rule the roost after the former's return from prison in December, Azenathi's claim to the throne has been questioned.

His father has denied his son, demanding a DNA test to prove that the man who ruled the kingdom in his absence is truly blood.

Azenathi has taken the matter to court, challenging the recognition of his father by the provincial government at the Mthatha High Court.
