Somizi decided to add his opinion on the recent talks about Master KG and Nomcebo Zikode getting equal attention for the Jerusalema song. According to Somizi, the song belongs to Master KG and he deserves full credit for his work.
The Idols SA judge said that Nomcebo is a credited vocalist on the song and was chosen by Master KG. He went on to explain that it was Master KG who made the beat and therefore it was his song.
Somizi said that if people wanted to fight for vocalists then they should have said something about it before the Jerusalema fame. He made an example of a famous Arthur Mafokate song which featured a vocalist who nobody knows. Somizi also mentioned other house songs that include vocalists who are not credited.
In the video posted on Instagram, Somizi congratulated Master KG for the amazing success and said that it was God's will to take him from nothing to something huge.
His words caused mixed reactions among social media users but many of his followers seemed to agree with him.

Briefly.co.za previously reported that with success comes a lot of jealousy and hate. This is a lesson Nomcebo Zikode recently learned after she took to social media to show her mother some love.
The singer said that her mother inspired her to write all her hit songs, including Xola Moya Wam' and Jerusalema. Some social media users were not quite happy with Nomcebo claiming that she wrote Jerusalema. Nomcebo tweeted:
"Dear mom, you are the reason why I write soulful songs. #XolaMoyawam #Jerusalema"
