A South African digital creator has left thousands of people wondering how they ever managed without two WhatsApp features they never knew existed.
Kara-Jayne Seynisch, known online as @live_savvy_sa and followed by over 105,000 people on Instagram, shared a short tutorial on 12 September 2026 that quickly took off in the comments. Filmed in a tech retail store, the clip was casual and straight to the point — but the information she packed into it had people stopping mid-scroll.

The first tip covers something many people have struggled with: scanning and sending a PDF without leaving WhatsApp. Kara-Jayne explained that tapping the plus icon, selecting "Document," and then choosing "Scan Document" allows users to scan anything on the spot and send it instantly as a PDF, all from within the app.

The second tip is aimed at anyone who sends photos or videos to clients or brands. Instead of sending media through the usual route, she showed that selecting "Document" and then choosing a photo or video sends it at its highest possible quality. Videos sent this way come through as MOV files, which preserve full resolution. For anyone working with businesses or in creative fields, that distinction matters.
