A South African woman, Nompumelelo Motlaping recently took to Facebook's ImStaying group to share how she was inspired after spotting a dad pushing a stroller through a KFC restaurant drive-through.
"How can I leave this beautiful country mara?#ImStaying because of this guy who queued at the KFC drive-thru with his stroller. I just had to capture this as it reminded me that it's the thought that counts, not having a car did not stop this guy from buying at the drive-thru just like any other person who is driving.
"Therefore I challenge every single person who is about to go job hunting this year to knock even if the door says closed/ni job, you could find that the person behind that closed door is just waiting for your knock.#ImStaying #StaySafeStayHealthy," she wrote.
Stayers had this to say about the sweet post:
Regan Kistan said:
"This guy is not just any guy, this is a dad, giving his kid an amazing experience, the kid is actually the driver at the drive-through, #buildingdreams #creatingmemories"
Boipelo Marima said:
"Arrhhh yes, reminds me of my time in university. We used to do this in the AMs when only drive-through was open. KFC and McDonald's were favourites."
Mary Henry Du Plessis said:
"Whatever his reason. I think he's a fantastic person."
