@Bonisile_RMS got Twitter talking after he shared a sweet post about becoming a dad. The young father shared a thread on the social networking site with ten things he's learnt since his daughter's birth.
@Bonisile_RMS was just 160 days old at the time he shared the thread. He received tons of praise from many South Africans who appreciated the attention to detail he shared while taking care of his baby girl.
From pooping and playlists to parenting books and pictures, @Bonisile_RMS covered many things new parents may not be aware of.
Take a look at the thread below:
"2. There will be outfits they only wear once before outgrowing them. This hurts. Try not to buy expensive outfits."
"7. Have a playlist. I have compiled a playlist that I use to disarm her when she is angry or annoyed. I have tested it on my friends' babies too. Babies love these songs. Here is the link to the Apple Music playlist I curated.
"8. You might think you are a nice person but in fact, you are a sadistic being who will find joy in your baby rejecting other people and wanting you. Sies!
"9. These things are always trying to die. Your job is to stop them. They will want to roll over a bed, they will want to chew on the tip of your laptop charger, they will want to swallow the coin that just fell out of your pocket. Your job is suicide watch. Don't slip."
Below are just a few of the responses he received:
"This is beautiful... I have a 16-month-old I sometimes wish I can take him back to his newborn stage. Toddlers are monsters."
"Dude, you just won me over... You're the greatest father after my Dad... Continue being the best dad to that cute little munchie you created."
"One of the best threads on these streets. More blessings to you and your family. I am thankful to God for my princess, being a present father is a blessing."
In other adorable daddy-daughter news, Briefly.co.za previously reported on a father and his little girl splashing around in a puddle together. The video starts with a little girl standing in a puddle while her father stands on the outskirts.
The little girl extends her arms and says "Come here," to her dad. She proceeds to say "come here" again and then "hold my hand" until her father joins her in the puddle. Once her father joins her in the puddle she starts jumping.
The dad decides to jump with her. @danielmarven captioned the video: "If you can't do this, you are not ready to be a dad." The post gained over 53 000 views at the time of Briefly.co.za's viewing.
