Silento, Famously Known for Watch Me Nae Nae, Charged with Murder

US rapper Ricky Hawk better known Silento has been apprehended. The musician known for his one-hit-wonder Watch Me Whip has been accused of killing his cousin.
Reports indicate officers in Georgia responded to a complaint by neighbours about gunshots fired within the neighbourhood.
The incident took place on January 21 at around 3:30am.
Authorities stated that the rapper was placed in custody on Monday, February 2.
The celebrity’s cousin, Fredrick Rooks, who was 34 at the time of his death, was found lying on the floor with gunshot wounds on January 21.
“Today, Ricky Hawk, 23, was arrested for the murder of his cousin Frederick Rooks, 34. On January 21, the DeKalb County Police Department investigated Rooks' death after he was found shot on Deep Shoals Circle. Hawk is in the DeKalb County Jail charged with murder,” DeKalb County Police Department said in a Twitter statement.
In an almost similar incident reported by Briefly.co.za two years back, Grammy-nominated US rapper Nipsey Hussle was pronounced dead after being shot while standing outside his clothing store.
Briefly.co.za understands the famous and talented Nipsey was pronounced dead at hospital on the night of Sunday, March 31, and two other men were also victims of the shooting.
According to police reports, the rapper, who was also the lovely actress Lauren London’s lover, was declared dead in hospital after the incident. The other victims are currently luckily in stable condition.
The assailant disappeared soon after the shooting and an arrest is yet to be made. Police believe he either fled on foot or in a car. Los Angeles police described the shooter as a black male but had no further information about his description.
The rapper was part of the underground rap scene for many years and his album, Victory Lap, was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rap Album. After news of the tragedy broke, the social media streets were flooded with messages of disbelief and sadness.
