Nasty C has explained why he has not moved to the United States yet. The Durban-born rapper is hoping to move to the US as soon as it is possible to do so.

The There They Go hitmaker is currently working on new songs with US rappers that he hopes to drop when he finally moves there.

The star, who is signed to US entertainment company Def Jam Records, revealed that he put his relocation plans on hold because Americans fear Mzansi's Covid-19 variant.

He told TshisaLIVE that moving to the US amid the pandemic will not be a good idea. He said Americans don't seem to want people from Mzansi there because "they think we have a mutated variant of Covid-19 that is worse than the others".

The musician said the only way for him to be granted access to America is if he first quarantines in a non-hazardous country for 14-days.

"Going into quarantine in another country will take too much out of my schedule now."

Nasty C revealed that he has already collaborated with five popular US rappers who are in the new age hip hop scene.

"If I say it now too many people will get too excited too soon."

Briefly.co.za reported that Nasty C and Stogie T have dropped the highly-anticipated music video for their track titled Dunno. Stogie T features the There They Go rapper on the dope single.

The 'Zulu Man With Some Power' took to Instagram on Monday, 22 February to share that they have dropped the dope visuals for the track released in 2020. Nasty C shared the video on his timeline and captioned it:

"@stogie_t we going up @ 5pm #DUNNO."

The star's fans took to his comment section to share their thoughts on the video. Many expressed that they are feeling the video.

In related news, Briefly.co.za reported that Nasty C is ready to drop new music. The There They Go hitmaker has hinted that he might drop a new in mid-March.

The rapper dropped his latest album Zulu Man With Some Power just in August 2020 but has shared that he has about 20 tracks already done and is ready to drop another project soon.

The KwaZulu-Natal-born rapper, who is signed to Def Jam, was speaking in a recent IG Live with US radio personality Justin Credible. The star revealed that the album is complete, SAHipHopMag reported.
