- Mzansi social media uses managed to find something funny from a recent picture of Bonang Matheba
- One eagle-eyed Twitter user pointed out that the Queen B's purse had only a single R50 note in it, something very surprising for someone of her stature
- Others began joking that it was the celebrity's last R50 and she was broke like the rest of them
The pandemic has hit a lot of people hard both emotionally and financially.
Recently a social media user joked that Bonang was also affected by the massive job losses and her wallet was also barely holding on.
This comes after a snap of Bonang revealed that there was only R50 in her see-through purse.
Twitter user karaboooaf said:
“It’s rough out here, even Bonang has only R50 left.”
Twitter user letebelemolale responded:
“The only difference is that her "R50" can buy a Private Jet.”
“Tough times mntase.”
Of course they were all joking. We all know that Bonang has enough R50 notes to buy even more R50 notes. LOL!
Meanwhile Briefly.co.za previously reported that Mzansi media personality Bonang Matheba had the timeline talking when she tweeted something cryptic. Bonang took to social media to share some good news but Mzansi took the tweet and ran with it. Queen B said:
"...It's a girl!"
Bonang's tweet was accompanied by heart emojis and fans became excited. Many social media users thought that Bonang had had a child and took to the comments section to congratulate her.
A few social media users then realised that Bonang was probably talking about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's announcement of them having a baby girl.
Bonang has said numerous times in the past that she would like to have children one day but she is not sure when that time will come. She just wants to make sure that she's ready to go down that road first.
Mzansi social media users commented on Bonang's post with different reactions. Check them out below:
"Aii noo I'm not getting excited until I see your (Bonang Matheba's) baby bump... You might be talking about someone else."
"Can't we just congratulations without any sour grapes?"
"If the baby daddy runs away just know that I'm always ready to step in."
