Lady, 101, Bags Wine Promoter Job After Looking for Work to Afford Treats

- She now spends her time sharing clips of herself on social media reviewing the tastes of different kinds of wine

Some of us can only dream of trying different sorts of wines and promoting them on social media while getting paid to do so. An old lady recently had this become her reality after she started a job search.
According to reports, 101-year-old Maria Cardoso wanted a job so that she did not have to rely on her daughter for cash to buy some of her favourite treats. After nagging her children, they jokingly uploaded her CV on social media and surprise surprise, she was offered a job a wine company looking for promoters.
Now a very content Maria spends a lot of her time in front of a camera trying out wines and sending the clips to the wine company for them to post on their social media pages.
According to W24 and NewsFlash, Maria's great-granddaughter, Pamela Cristina Gomes, Maria was able to secure a pretty nice deal with the wine company unfortunately she was not at liberty to say exactly how sweet the deal was. I mean we don't really need to talk numbers because for many of us sitting and trying wine while in front of a camera is really somewhat of a dream job if we're really being honest.
In other interesting Briefly.co.za reports, Agnes Kasparkova, a 91-year-old woman in the Czech Republic, has turned a small village into an art gallery. The elderly woman has shown the world that being old does not deprive people of their creativity.
In the photos that were shared on Facebook by Epicalyptic, the nonagenarian could be seen painting the wall of a building in the village. Facebook users were impressed with Agnes' beautiful work and didn't hesitate to praise her in the comment section.
While some commended her beautiful works with emojis and stickers, others simply wrote how they felt about the art. One person simply wrote "perfect."
