Instead, Zodwa was spotted at another event in Bloemfontein.

Speaking to the publication, the event organiser Kabelo Mooketsi said Zodwa disappointed them.

“Our problems started when we asked her to promote our event on her social media pages, but she was reluctant to do so.”

According to Mooketsi, Zodwa acknowledged the double booking and attempted to negotiate a rescheduling of the event as she was unable to pay back the R30 000.

He went on to say that Zodwa’s stunt has made the butchery business look bad.

“She also put our spot into disrepute because people on social media have branded us as untrustworthy. They’ve said they’ll never believe in any event we advertise.”

When she was contacted for comment by the publication, Zodwa admitted that the allegations were true. She said that she was in negotiations to work it out and could not comment any further.

Meanwhile, Briefly News previously reported that Mzansi socialite Zodwa Wabantu took to social media to admit that she's not the changed woman that people think she is. After the Covid-19 lockdown starting affecting her ways to make money, Zodwa made another plan.
