"We are BACK!! cant wait for you guys to see what's coming @khaya_dladla @tk_dlaminii @naymaps."

Nokuthula told Briefly News that she wasn't nervous at all to return to the show to continue playing the highly-acclaimed role of Thobile.

"When they (producers) told me I was coming back, I was like 'Oh my gosh'. I wasn't nervous at all."

She also spoke about her character and what she did to prepare for the role. The actress said:

"Thobile has been to Johannesburg for a year and she's come back to KwaMashu to claim that her trip to Johannesburg was a success."

The star also explained why she and GC - a character played by Khaya Dladla - have been speaking broken Sotho since their return to the telenovela.

"We've been exposed to different ethnic groups and languages so we understand most of the languages in Mzansi. That helped us a lot when we came back to the show. Most people from KZN go to Joburg and come back speaking broken Sotho, we're trying to depict that through our characters."

Nokuthula said she and Khaya didn't even have a seat down with the producers of the show to discuss the broken Sotho they now speak in the programme but they improvised.

"It was a surprise to them as well. We didn't run it past them but they liked it."

According to the storyline, Thobile and GC are back from Jozi and are faking to have made it in the city of gold. Nokuthula said the trip wasn't a success.

"We're so happy we're back in KwaMashu but the truth is gonna come out soon. It will be so embarrassing for us."

On her future plans, Nokuthula said she's doing a lot of auditions at the moment.

"We never know what God has in store for us."
