-Briefly News takes a look at some of the reactions to the fun dance video
The viral dance video created by @jones21wp may already be one week old but the dancing policeman's charm is certainly not wearing off. The Western Cape cop took to popular social networking service TikTok to share a fun dance performance probably recorded after a long day on Mzansi's frontlines.
In the video, a uniformed Jones begins by coyly taking his heavy police vest off before finally getting down to a unique Afrobeat bouncing with local flavour. Of course, social media users couldn't get enough of the talented co's dance moves.
In totally unrelated events, Mzansi's femme population couldn't help noticing the cops muscular physique and couldn't help drooling in the comments section. Take a look at some of the reactions below:
"That dance u make after getting cold drink money."
"lol do that when you arrest someone, do it in their face as u put them in the van."
"I'm about to commit a crime"
"I heard people saying good moves i myself only saw those arms omg"
"The man in a uniform - my weakness"
"Hamba police man"
"Great dance moves my brother in crime"
"Like the moves. Aitsa"
Meanwhile, Briefly News previously reported that a video of a police officer slugging it out on the street with a kid has got many talking on social media.
A man identified as Richard DiPilla shared the clip on his LinkedIn page. In a post that is many days old, the man said that he loves when policemen act as role models in society. At the time of writing this report, Briefly News cannot, however, verify the location of the video.
In the short clip, a boy walked towards some policemen sitting on their power bikes as he showed off some cool dance steps. When he was done, an officer stepped in and performed his stunt to show that he is equally up to the task.
Many people praised the two for demonstrating how people should love each other. Briefly News compiled some of the reactions it got below:
Lloyd Gale said:
"This is uplifting, this young man may very well want to become a police officer knowing he still can do this craft."
David Camuzo said:
"A hero in blue and a boy in the beauty of his youth both dancing in the street! Nothing better than that."
Gary Zermuehlen said:
"I woke up the other morning and almost fell going to the bathroom. If I do any break dancing is because I actually broke something. These two are amazing."
Ken O'Connell said:
"Law enforcement connecting with the community is wonderful!"
